Catherine Yourougou is a staff attorney with AARP Legal Counsel for the Elderly (LCE). She joined LCE as a contractor in June 2017 and became a staff attorney in December 2017. She works exclusively with homebound seniors on a variety of legal issues as the only attorney for our Homebound Elderly Legal Project (Project HELP). Prior to joining LCE, Professor Yourougou was a legal fellow at the National Women’s Law Center. During summers while in law school, she interned with the Poverty and Race Research Action Council in DC and with the Fair Housing Justice Center in NY. Professor Yourougou has a JD from NYU School of Law and an MBA from the University of Maryland’s School of Business.
