Chris Green is the Global General Counsel and Partner at Bain Capital, the world’s largest privately-held private equity and alternative asset management firm, managing over $175 Billion in assets, and controlling over 860 companies worldwide. Chris is responsible for the management of the legal, compliance, government affairs, tax, and cybersecurity functions globally at Bain Capital.

Prior to joining Bain Capital in 2018, Chris was a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston and was Ropes & Gray’s Global Head of Complex Litigation. Chris was rated as Band 1 trial attorney and litigator nationally in Chambers, and one of the top five litigators in Massachusetts.

Chris received his JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999, and his BA from Holy Cross in 1995. Chris served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in 1995-96, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Chris also serves on the Board of Visitors for Georgetown University Law Center.
