David Fuhr is the Acting Chief of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Unit in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He joined the Fraud Section as a Trial Attorney in the FCPA Unit in 2013 and became an Assistant Chief in 2019 and Acting Chief in May 2023. Prior to joining the Department, David worked at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and clerked for the Hon. Diana Murphy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. David graduated from Elon University in 2000 and Duke Law School in 2005.
