In October 2016, Ed was appointed as FIFA’s first Chief Compliance Officer in a landmark reform effort and was tasked with building the first ever compliance program at the largest sports organization in the world. Prior to joining FIFA, Ed served as a senior executive, general counsel and head of compliance for large multinational pharmaceutical companies with postings in the United States, Europe and Asia. He started his legal career as an associate at Dechert LLP and later Reed Smith LLP.
