In 2023 Edward joined Roblox as Senior Director. At Roblox, Edward works with the Global Public Policy and Legal Teams to develop strategies and programs to further Roblox’s mission to build a human co-experience platform that enables billions of users to come together to play, learn, communicate, explore and expand their friendships.

Prior to Roblox, Edward was Senior Director of Global Sustainability at Meta. His team developed and executed Meta’s approach to efficient and responsible business operations, strategic external engagement with stakeholders, and voluntary and regulatory ESG/Climate disclosures. The team drove efforts to support global communities and make a positive impact on the world by minimizing Meta’s energy, emissions, and water impact, protecting workers and the environment in its supply chain, and partnering with others to develop and share solutions for a more sustainable world.

Also at Meta/Facebook, Edward served as Director and Associate General Counsel, advising on US and international laws, regulations, and industry practices. Before joining Meta, Edward held multiple roles at Sprint, including Deputy Chief Privacy Officer, where he led the Legal Department’s Office of Privacy. Edward started his legal career at a DC-based communications and tech law firm advising clients on privacy, telecom, and other regulatory matters.

Edward also is Board member with LAMB PCS (Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School), which works to create a self-directed learning environment where children build a foundation of knowledge essential for a lifetime of learning, with the goal of biliteracy in English and Spanish. Prior to his time on the LAMB PCS Board, Edward served for 10 years on the SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders) Board. SMYAL is a non-profit working to empower LGBTQ youth in the metro area.
