Edward is Director, Global Sustainability at Meta. His team develops and executes Meta’s approach to efficient and responsible business operations. Beyond operating responsibly, the team drives efforts to support global communities and make a positive impact on the world by minimizing Meta’s energy, emissions, and water impact, protecting workers and the environment in its supply chain, and partnering with others to develop and share solutions for a more sustainable world. https://sustainability.fb.com/

Also at Meta, Edward served as Director and Associate General Counsel, advising on US and international laws, regulations, and industry practices. Before joining Meta, Edward held multiple roles at Sprint, including Deputy Chief Privacy Officer, where he led the Legal Department’s Office of Privacy. Edward started his legal career at a DC-based communications and tech law firm advising clients on privacy, telecom, and other regulatory matters.

Edward also serves on two non-profit boards for organizations in Washington, DC: SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders), a non-profit working to empower LGBTQ youth in the metro area, and LAMB PCS (Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School), which works to create a self-directed learning environment where children build a foundation of knowledge essential for a lifetime of learning, with the goal of biliteracy in English and Spanish.

Edward graduated from the College of the Holy Cross (BA) and the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (JD).
