His work spans a variety of subjects, including the representation of foreign sovereigns in U.S. courts, general commercial litigation and arbitration, antitrust, bankruptcy and investigations conducted by U.S. government agencies. In pro bono matters, he has represented individuals with AIDS in employment discrimination cases and in the first use of the defense of medical necessity in the State of Maryland.
