Jay is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Hogan Lovells. He’s advises clients on tax aspects of corporate transactions, particularly cross-border mergers and acquisitions, tax-free spin-offs and internal restructurings. Jay currently serves as the vice-chair of the ABA Corporate Tax Section and has previously served as chair of the DC Bar Corporate Tax Section and the ABA Affiliated & Related Corporations Committee. Before entering private practice, Jay worked in the corporate tax division of the IRS national office.
