Jenny Reich is a Fellow and the Director of Emerging Technology Projects at the Georgetown Law Center on National Security. She is currently helping produce a report on artificial intelligence, social media, and the future of democratic norms globally. She was instrumental in the production and dissemination of the Center’s report on the future threats and opportunities of social media and emerging technologies domestically. Before joining the Center, she was in the CFIUS practice group at the law firm Covington and Burling in Washington, DC. She graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, serving as a board member for the Penn Law Review and publishing on cross-border criminal investigations. She also has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, Reich does Spanish-language voter protection work and screenings for unaccompanied minors seeking asylum at the US-Mexico border.
