John DiIorio is a Managing Director in EY’s National Tax Controversy and Policy Group where he leads the Account and Interest Group. He represents taxpayers before the IRS advising on tax controversies in all administrative phases of the resolution process including Examination and Appeal proceedings. He also leads the Account and Interest Group advising taxpayers on complex interest and penalty computations, resolving IRS account issues, understanding and responding to IRS notices, tax return and payment processing questions, and collection matters.

John received his bachelor’s degree in Classics from Cornell University, his JD from American University’s Washington College of Law, and his LLM from the Georgetown University Law Center.
