Professor Finocchiaro is a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Organized Crime and Gang Section, where her work focuses on supervising and assisting in the investigation and prosecution of organized crime and gang cases in United States Attorney’s Offices across the country. Professor Finocchiaro previously served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware Department of Justice, prosecuting violent felonies including murder, home invasion, and robbery. She has conducted dozens of trials and prosecuted hundreds of cases. She also worked as a bankruptcy litigation associate at Richards, Layton and Finger, P.A., and was a member of the team representing Washington Mutual in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
