Laurie Lai is Senior Counsel – Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). She advises on CISA’s cyber mission, including programs to proactively address vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure and to facilitate information sharing and collaboration within the government and with the private sector. Before joining CISA, Laurie was an associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP, where she advised on data breach response, government investigations, and compliance with privacy and cybersecurity requirements. Laurie earned her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School and her B.S. with highest distinction in Interdisciplinary Physics from the University of Michigan. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
