Ms. Torres is a Legal Counsel at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), an organization of the World Bank Group and the leading global institution for the resolution of investment disputes through conciliation and arbitration proceedings. In this capacity, she serves as Secretary of tribunals and ad hoc committees in arbitration and annulment proceedings brought under the ICSID Convention and the ICSID Additional Facility Rules. Prior to joining ICSID, she worked at the international arbitration practice of the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. (2005-2013) participating in numerous international investment arbitration and international commercial arbitration proceedings. She began her career with the law firm of Rodríguez-Azuero Asociados in Bogotá, Colombia (2000-2004). She is admitted to practice in the Republic of Colombia, the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
