Professor Donnelly is a partner with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and advises public and private companies on a broad range of U.S. federal and state income tax matters, with a concentration on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, joint ventures, financing transactions, restructurings, and internal reorganizations. Professor Donnelly also advises on tax matters related to the structuring, financing, development, acquisition and disposition of green and renewable energy projects, including the qualification for tax credits and other tax benefits associated with such projects. Professor Donnelly is also an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law, where he teaches corporate taxation.
