Paul Crane currently serves as an attorney in the Appellate Section of the Criminal Division at the United States Department of Justice. He previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia, and as a Bristow Fellow for the Office of the Solicitor General of the United States. He also has served as a law clerk to Chief Justice John G. Roberts on the United States Supreme Court and Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. From 2016-19, Mr. Crane taught criminal law and criminal procedure at the University of Richmond School of Law. He earned a BA, MA, and JD from the University of Virginia.
