T.J. McCarrick is a Partner in the litigation department of the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where his practice includes trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. T.J. has represented Fortune 500 and other clients in matters involving contracts, antitrust, consumer products, false advertising, fraud, bankruptcy, and mergers and acquisitions. T.J. served as a law clerk to Judge Daniel A. Bress of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2019-20) and Judge Gregory K. Frizzell on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma (2016-17). T.J. received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Director of the Appellate Advocacy Division of the Barrister’s Council and Senior Articles Editor for the American Criminal Law Review. T.J. received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, maxima cum laude, from La Salle University.
