Terry West Jr. serves as an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Tax Policy. As an Attorney-Advisor, Terry assists in advising the Tax Legislative Counsel (TLC) on federal income tax matters regarding the taxation of corporations (including consolidated groups) and their shareholders. Prior to joining the Office of Tax Policy, Terry served as an Attorney in IRS’ Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate). And before serving as an attorney for the US Treasury Department, Mr. West was an advisor in KPMG’s M&A tax practice.
