Valerie J. Ramos is an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. Professor Ramos’s practice focuses on cross-border complex commercial litigation and regulatory enforcement defense. She has experience in representing clients, including foreign individuals and corporations from Latin America, in disputes involving securities violations, fraud, and breach of contracts.

Professor Ramos graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. At Berkeley Law, Professor Ramos served as a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Berkeley Business Law Journal, a Writing Coach for a Master’s of Law Legal Research and Writing Course, and a member of the Board of Advocates, winning National Champion for the 2013 IP LawMeet competition with her team. Professor Ramos graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at El Paso.
