Photo of Kamil CybulaKamil Cybula is a first-generation college student and child of Polish immigrants, born in Westchester, New York. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy, graduating summa cum laude from Fordham University in New York City. His experiences growing up in a Polish immigrant family have shaped his passion for international arbitration and immigration law, fueling his dedication to cross-border justice and advocacy.

During his time at Fordham, he was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society and the Phi Sigma Tau Philosophy Honor Society, received the Patrick and Helen McCarthy Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and was awarded Departmental Honors in Philosophy. He also studied abroad at the University of Granada through Fordham’s study abroad program in Spain.

For the past two years after graduating from college, he has worked as a teacher’s assistant at a high school in San Diego, supporting students with special educational needs. Committed to serving immigrant communities, he has also volunteered as a translator and interpreter for asylum seekers with Casa Cornelia Law Center in San Diego. Outside of work, he spent two years performing with a Polish folk dance group, embracing and sharing his cultural heritage.
He is fluent in Polish and Spanish and has a working comprehension of French. In his free time, he loves playing sports like soccer, basketball, and volleyball and listening to music.
