Photo of Kirit MinhasKirit Minhas grew up in Delaware and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in 2024 with a B.A. in English Literature and minors in French and Journalism. While at Georgetown, he studied abroad at Sciences Po Strasbourg, where he completed all coursework in French, focusing on international affairs, European history, and politics. His time in Strasbourg deepened his understanding of the French language and culture and gave him the opportunity to study and observe European multilateralism through the workings of the European Court of Human Rights, the Council of Europe, and the European Parliament.

Kirit has built a strong foundation in communications, policy, and advocacy through a range of roles. Since graduating, he has completed a yearlong politics and public affairs fellowship with Bryson Gillette, a minority-owned and intentionally diverse consulting firm. There, he led project management and media strategy for clients focused on education, responsible technology, artificial intelligence, and political advocacy. He worked closely with high-profile organizations including the Center for AI Safety, the Center for Humane Technology, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. He previously interned at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, where he helped organize the inaugural AANHPI Mental Health Summit in 2023 and supported the Initiative’s interagency work.

In addition to his policy experience, Kirit has pursued a passion for journalism and storytelling. He reported for the Delaware State News, wrote for The Hoya, and served on both the English Undergraduate Council and the Georgetown University Undergraduate Law Review. He is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi; proficient in French; and is currently studying Spanish, with plans to learn Portuguese.

At Georgetown Law, Kirit hopes to explore international human rights law, environmental law, and the intersection of law, responsible technology, and artificial intelligence. In his free time, he enjoys writing poetry, discovering new NPR podcasts, and sharpening his barista skills.
