Lucy graduated Summa Cum Laude from the George Washington University in 2025 with a B.A. in International Affairs and Economics, minoring in Journalism and Mass Communications. While in college, she studied in France at Science Po, specializing in French and Middle Eastern studies while abroad. At GW, Lucy was a leader on the Model United Nations competition team, with the group reaching a record high of 6th in the world during her tenure. She wrote her senior thesis in economics on the employment effects of cap and trade policy in California. Lucy is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

She has interned with the Legal Services Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring equal access to justice through legal aid. There, she helped form a digital media strategy focused around the personal stories of clients who have been helped by LSC’s grantees, establishing a client story database to facilitate future outreach. This experience underscored for her the magnitude of unmet legal needs among low-income individuals in the United States and cemented her personal understanding of pro bono service as a necessary part of any successful legal career.
Lucy is originally from Nashville, TN. She speaks Spanish and French. While at Georgetown, Lucy plans to continue her focus on international economics, developing a greater understanding of the regulatory networks and procedures that govern financial interactions across borders. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys going for long walks with an audiobook, watching a good science fiction movie, and spending time with family and friends.
