Rahul was born and raised in India and earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He began his career as a journalist, traveling widely, including to some of the country’s most remote regions, to report on social and health issues . His work spanned field reporting, interviews, and long-form features for national and international outlets such as Nikkei Asian Review, Ozy, and Firstpost, where he focused on rigorous fact-gathering and clear, accessible analysis. His articles have been cited in law journals and in the 2019 Report to Congress of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, reflecting the impact and policy relevance of his reporting.

In 2021, Rahul became a legal assistant to a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and, in parallel, supported teams at Qdesq. Where he researched constitutional and commercial issues, prepared case digests, cite-checked petitions and assisted with due-diligence reviews. At Georgetown, Rahul has worked to build a supportive community by serving as a student mentor and instructor, and he remains active outside the classroom, including participation in the ABA Law Student Tax Challenge and serving on the Georgetown Journal of International Law.
