Yanis Belkhelladi is from Reading, England and received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, where he was a member of both the varsity swim and varsity rugby teams and graduated magna cum laude. He speaks French fluently and is learning Russian.

He is now pursuing a J.D. at Georgetown University. At Georgetown, Yanis is particularly interested in studying human rights, and environmental policy.
