Zohar Levy
Zohar grew up in Los Angeles, California and graduated with distinction and Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in 2022. She earned a B.A. in Linguistics and minored in Modern Languages, focusing on Spanish and Arabic.
At Stanford, she researched international topics including English language policy in post-revolutionary Iran and the migration of Jewish refugees and Holocaust survivors to Mexico. During a year abroad in Israel, she studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and interned at the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education, researching and analyzing K-12 curricula in the Middle East and North Africa. Once back on campus, Zohar joined the Conflict Resolution Lab at Stanford Law School and also worked under Professor Larry Diamond and the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.
Following graduation, Zohar moved to Sydney, Australia where she spent a year working at a local gym and solo backpacking throughout the continent. Upon returning stateside, Zohar interned at the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman Ted Lieu.
At Georgetown Law, Zohar is curious to learn about the international intersections of human rights and criminal law. She has advanced proficiency in both Hebrew and Spanish. In her free time, Zohar enjoys CrossFit, long walks, and tasting new recipes.
