Sabrina Lourie (she/her) joined HRI as the 2023-24 Georgetown Justice Fellow in 2023. Prior to working with HRI, Sabrina interned with the Department of Justice’s Office of Foreign Litigation, working on research and evaluation related to foreign litigation requiring assistance from the United States and domestic cases involving foreign and international law. She also interned with the Professional Responsibility Advisory Office at the Department of Justice, where she worked on projects regarding attorney ethics and professional responsibility. She interned for the Honorable Judge George Hazel at the U.S. District of Maryland, Southern Division. Sabrina also has experience with fundraising and development.

Sabrina was awarded her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in May 2023. While at Georgetown, Sabrina was an Articles Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law. Sabrina also has a B.A. with Distinction in All Subjects from Cornell University, where she majored in history and government. She was also an editor on two undergraduate journals. Sabrina expects to be barred in Maryland.
