Members of Congress and Georgetown Law Professors Face off on the Basketball Court for Charity

At the 31st Annual Home Court Charity Basketball Game, members of Congress (Hill’s Angels) and Georgetown Law faculty and staff (Hoya Lawyas) will hit the basketball court to to raise money for the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Started by a group of Georgetown Law students in 1988, Home Court has raised more than $8 million since its inception.
WHO
The 2018 Congressional team, the Hill’s Angels, will be led by Rep. Ryan Costello (R-PA). He will be joined by Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH). Alex Briggs, Legislative Director for Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH), Will Council, Legislative Correspondent for Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA), Kevin Lefeber, Legislative Assistant for Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Nicholas Smith, Deputy Communications Director for Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX) will also play. In attendance at the game will be Rep. Larry Bucshon (R-IN), Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).
The team captain of the Hoya Lawyas will be Georgetown Law Professor Mike Frisch who will lead an all-star team of faculty and staff including Dean of Students Mitch Bailin, and Professors Laura Donohue, Joshua Geltzer, John Mikhail, Shon Hopwood, David Koplow, Doug Letter, Perry Russell- Hunter, and Neel Sukhatme.
