WASHINGTON โ€“ As part of its fall series on The Americas in Times of COVID-19, Georgetown Lawโ€™s Center for the Advancement of the Rule of Law in the Americas (CAROLA) will host a webinar on โ€œThe Future of Tradeโ€ on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020.

WHAT

Amidst the backlash against the global liberal consensus of the last three decades unfolds, what is the future of the international trade regime? Expert panelists will discuss the crisis at the World Trade Organization and proposals to reform it, new trade directions suggested by the USMCA, the Trump administrationโ€™s increasing use of national security measures to pursue its strategic trade objectives, and the U.S.-China trade war.
