Before joining the Tech Institute, Mikey studied English and Gender Studies at Tulane University, with a minor in Jewish Studies. As an undergraduate, she served on the executive board of the Sexual Aggression Peer Hotline and Education (SAPHE), where she led trainings on violence prevention, advocated for survivors, and helped shape university policy through student-driven activism. She also worked with the nonprofit STAR (Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response), where she collaborated with city officials to support survivors in the New Orleans community.

After graduating, Mikey began her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center, where she is involved with the Student Bar Association, the Corporate and Financial Law Organization, and serves as the Private Sector Chair for OUTLAW. She also works as a coach at Solidcore, where he helps clients achieve personal health goals.

Now based in Washington, DC, Mikey continues to explore questions at the intersection of tech, law, and equity. She spends her free time doing the New York Times crossword and reading contemporary fiction.
