When making international calls from within the Capitol Campus you will need to do the following:

  • Open the Zoom Phone interface (either through the desktop app or mobile app).

  • Locate the number pad and enter the recipient’s phone number, starting with “011” followed by the country code, area/city code, and the phone number.

For example, to call Brazil (country code 55) in Rio de Janeiro (city code 21), dial 011-55-21-XXXX-XXXX.

Tap the phone icon to initiate the call.

  • For calls originating within the Capitol Campus to countries within the North American Numbering Plan the format will be:
    Area code – subscriber number (same as dialing a US state to state call).The North American Numbering Plan (NANP) is an integrated telephone numbering plan serving 20 North American countries that share its resources. These countries include the United States and its territories, Canada, Bermuda, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Sint Maarten, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks & Caicos.
