Anthony Janoso
Anthony is a first-year law student and a member of Cohort 9 in the Business Law Scholars Program. After graduation, Anthony is interested in practicing litigation at a Biglaw firm. Practice areas of interest include white collar defense and commercial litigation, though he plans on exploring more practice areas during his internships.
On campus, he is involved as a member of the Corporate & Financial Law Organization.
Background
Prior to law school, Anthony completed his degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He then worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young, where he progressed from Audit Staff to Audit Senior. He developed audit strategies, supervised junior staff, and worked closely with clients and partners on high-risk accounts.
Alongside his professional work, Anthony spent time as a Sponsored Esports Athlete for Conduit Gaming LLC, competing in regional and international tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Melee.
This summer, Anthony will be interning at Manhattan Legal Services in their Housing Unit, which advocates for low-income tenants facing eviction proceedings.
Beyond Law School
Anthony is from Denver, Colorado. In his free time, he enjoys goal-oriented fitness/strength training, critically acclaimed movies and tv, and competitive chess.
