Professor Finocchiaro is a supervisory trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Violent Crime and Racketeering Section, where her work focuses on supervising and assisting trial attorneys in the investigation and prosecution of organized crime and gang cases in United States Attorney’s Offices across the country. Professor Finocchiaro previously served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware Department of Justice, prosecuting violent felonies including murder, home invasion, and robbery. She has conducted dozens of trials and prosecuted hundreds of cases. She also worked as a bankruptcy litigation associate at Richards, Layton and Finger, P.A.
