Professor Fisher has been an Associate Judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia since 2001 and has served in the Criminal, Civil, and Probate & Tax Divisions, and the Domestic Violence Unit. Previously, he was a partner at Fisher & Hansen (previously Fisher, Morin & Hansen) and a supervising attorney and adjunct professor for the D.C. Law Students in Court program. Professor Fisher has lectured for Georgetown’s Continuing Legal Education program and has been a faculty member for the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop, the California Western University Law School Criminal Trial Advocacy Program, and the Santa Clara University Death Penalty College. He also has taught Evidence at the Peking University School of Transnational Law. He has been an adjunct professor at the Law Center since spring 1987, where he has taught courses on Evidence, Capital Punishment, and Trial Advocacy.
