Professor Hickman practices in the Washington office of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC. In this position, Professor Hickman represents state Attorneys General and other public-sector clients in investigations and lawsuits involving healthcare fraud and other fraudulent and deceptive trade practices. Professor Hickman previously practiced in the Washington office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, working on a range of civil litigation matters in the areas of environmental, toxic tort, and insurance coverage law, as well as a pro bono practice including civil litigation, immigration, and civil rights matters. After graduating from Georgetown Law, where she served as a Law Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing program, Professor Hickman served as a law clerk to the Honorable James I. Cohn, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
