Andrea Rodríguez Escobedo serves as the Director of International Programs at Georgetown Law. Andrea oversees the General Studies, International Legal Studies, and International Business and Economic Law LL.M. degree programs, and is the main advisor for foreign-trained students at Georgetown Law interested in qualifying for a U.S. bar exam.

Andrea joined Georgetown Law after years of practice in the public and private sectors. She started her legal career as a law clerk for Honorable Justice Arturo Zaldívar Lelo de Larrea of the Mexican Supreme Court. She then worked as an associate in the dispute resolution group at Baker McKenzie Mexico. Andrea also represented Sovereign States in investment arbitration matters while working at Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC.

Andrea is passionate about sports and is also a former member of the Mexican National Rugby Team. She has multicultural experience and has studied in Mexico, France and the United States. She speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.

Andrea is licensed to practice law in Mexico and New York.

Andrea obtained her J.D. from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) and her LL.M. from Columbia Law School.
