Supporting Documents
The following documents will need to be uploaded to your document portal account during the International Student Questionnaire process. Please prepare the following documents before beginning your questionnaire.
Applicant Information Form
Please download and complete the Applicant Information Form.
Passport Biographic Page
Submit a scanned copy or clear photograph of your passport biographic page. In general, passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months into the future on the date you enter the United Statues and at all times throughout your stay. To bring dependents, submit their passport biographic pages as well as your own.
Proof of Funding
To obtain the Form I-20 or DS-2019, students must show they have enough financial support to cover their academic costs of attendance at Georgetown and minimum living expenses for the Washington, D.C. area.
Proof of English Proficiency (J-1 Students Only)
ONLY J-1 students are required to provide materials to prove English proficiency.
Transfer Documents
If you currently hold an active Form I-20 or Form DS-2019, you must transfer your immigration record from your previous institution to Georgetown.
Pre-Arrival Orientation and Short-Term Residency
The pre-arrival orientation and short-term residency document requirements do not apply to Law Center students. These are only requirements for students studying on the Georgetown Main Campus.
