Alex is a 1L student and a member of Cohort 8 in the Business Law Scholars program. He is interested in pursuing M&A and private equity law after graduation. This upcoming summer, Alex will be working in the New York office of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, & Garrison LLP as a 1L Summer Associate.

At Georgetown, Alex is a member of the Corporate and Financial Law Organization, the Jewish Law Students Association, and the 2025-26 Barrister’s Council: Appellate Advocacy Division.

Background

Alex began his career as an investment analyst at Disruptive, a Dallas, TX-based global investment firm focused predominantly on late-stage private technology, and ultimately graduated to the role of Senior Associate before departing for law school. His responsibilities included investment sourcing, underwriting, capital raising, and portfolio company oversight, where he handled a diversified set of issuers ranging from ag-tech to fitness technology. He also served as Board Observer for one of Disruptive’s mid-stage property tech investments.

Additionally, Alex helped Disruptive develop a nascent athlete investment initiative, where he conceptualized underwriting methodologies to approximate earning potential across career stages; developed note structures with outside counsel; directed recruitment for data science, athlete relations, and back office operations; and oversaw financial planning and forecasting.

He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Beyond Law School

Alex is originally from Santa Barbara, CA, and he spent the last four years before law school between Austin and Dallas, TX. In his free time, he enjoys poker, music, skiing, golf, tennis, and travel.
