Alex Lewis
Alex is a 1L student and a member of Cohort 8 in the Business Law Scholars program. After law school, he plans on practicing corporate law in BigLaw after graduation. Practice areas of interest include M&A, capital markets, and renewable energies.

Background
Alex graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Economics. During undergrad, he was Head of the Advisory Board for the UCSB Mentoring in Economics Program, a Clinic Volunteer and Journal Writer for the UCSB Pre-Law Society, and a Financial Analyst for the UCSB Investment Advisory Committee. He was also a legal intern at West Coast Resolution Group where he oversaw the administrative tasks of a law office, prepared briefs for mediation, and collaborated directly with mediators and attorneys in the settlement process; and was an Educational Consulting Intern at Admittance Education where he counseled Turkish undergraduate applicants and conducted legal research on fraudulent overseas admissions activity presented to over a dozen top US universities.
Beyond Law School
Alex is from San Diego, California. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking, running, traveling, reading, and watching movies.
