Chioma is a 1L student and a member of Cohort 8 in the Business Law Scholars program. After graduation, she’s interested in working in BigLaw as a transactional attorney at the intersection of law, business, and technology.

At Georgetown, Chioma serves (1) as an Advisory Board Member for the MedStar Georgetown Student Health Clinic and (2) on the Student Life & Wellness Committee of the Student Bar Association. She is also a Student Ambassador and active in the Black Law Students Association, Christian Legal Society, and the Corporate and Financial Law Organization.

Background

Prior to law school, Chioma was a Senior Product Manager for Machine Learning tools. Chioma started in data engineering and built a career in technical product management, where she led key initiatives to drive AI/ML adoption and deliver business-critical solutions.

Chioma graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Economic Development and Policy, along with minors in Data Science, the Business of Social Impact, and Biology. During undergrad, Chioma conducted independent research in policy and data science labs and represented WashU at national conferences. She was also an SEO Edge Fellow and held leadership positions in the Black-Pre-Law Association, Epsilon Nu Tau Entrepreneurship Fraternity, and Lambda Sigma Honorary.

Beyond Law School

Chioma is from Texas. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in the city and community health projects, organizing fellowship events, and exploring international cuisine.
