Cristian is a 1L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars program. After law school, he would like to practice transactional law at a firm in Boston. At Georgetown, he is involved in the Corporate and Financial Law Organization, the Georgetown Law Golf Club as well as the Hoya Hoopers Club. Cristian will be working for the Pacific Legal Foundation in Arlington Virginia during the summer of 2024.

Background

Cristian graduated summa cum laude from Whitworth University in 2023 with a BA in Political Science, where he was a Weyerhaeuser Younger Scholarship and President’s Merit Scholarship recipient. During undergrad, he interned for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington’s 5th Congressional District and in the legal department of Kadant Inc., a technology company based in Westford, Massachusetts.

Cristian played Center on the Whitworth University Men’s basketball team for 2 years where he won a Northwest Conference Championship and played in the 2020 NCAA D3 Tournament. Since retiring from basketball, Cristian has trained in several martial arts, including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, American Boxing, and Muay Thai.

Cristian has experience as a sales representative for Pool World Inc. and as a Law Clerk at Kajko, Weisman, & Colasanti, LLP located in Littleton, Massachusetts. Cristian also started his own LSAT tutoring company during his senior year of undergrad, where he taught logic games and logical reasoning to students across North America.

Beyond Law School

Cristian was born in Canada but grew up in Lynden, Washington, a small farming town near the Canadian border. He loves martial arts and watches every single UFC event. Cristian also enjoys playing pickup basketball, watching thriller movies, and debating with friends about sports. Cristian is a huge Star Wars and Halo nerd and will chat your ear off about the lore if you let him.
