Emily Wu

Emily Wu is a 2026 graduate and Member of Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars Program. She is currently an Associate at Milbank LLP in Washington, D.C.
During law school, Emily was involved with the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She spent her 1L summer working for Hon. Veretta Frazier of the 44th Civil District Court of Texas.
Emily graduated cum laude from Barnard College of Columbia University with a degree in Mathematical-Statistics and a minor in Philosophy. She dedicated most of her undergrad time to leading and managing the College mathematics help room.
During undergrad, Emily worked as a Legal Intern at King & Wood Mallesons’s M&A group. She participated in the due diligence review of two large real-estate corporations’ restructuring and listing processes.
Emily spent the first 15 years of her life in Shenzhen, China and went to high school in Texas. She is an avid reader of sci-fi and thriller novels, and her favorite authors are Stieg Larsson and William Gibson. Her other hobbies include chess, fencing (épée), and cooking.
Emily speaks fluent Mandarin and is working on her Dutch.
