Ethan Saber

Ethan is a 2L student and a member of Cohort 6 in the Business Law Scholars program. He is interested in how the law facilitates business activity and provides the underpinning for financial markets. At Georgetown, Ethan is a Vice President of the Corporate and Financial Law Organization and will be externing this fall at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance. This summer, he will be working in New York City at Cahill Gordon & Reindel as a Summer Associate in the firm’s corporate group.

Background

Ethan graduated from the University of Southern California where he earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in Business Finance. He was a Lead Editor at the Journal of Law & Society where he prepared for publication a 35-page research paper on the rise of populism in Europe. He spent the past summer interning in the legal department of Extreme Networks, a cloud networking company, where he helped negotiate NDAs and monitor ESG disclosure requirements.

Beyond Law School

Ethan is from Raleigh, NC. He enjoys playing tennis and card games (Hearts, poker), watching soccer, and reading crime novels.
