Hyesun is a 2L student and a member of Cohort 6 in the Business Law Scholars program. She is planning on becoming a transactional attorney and is interested in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance. At Georgetown, she is on the American Criminal Law Review, is Vice President of the Korean American Law Students Association, a Student Ambassador, and is part of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and the Corporate Finance Law Organization.

Background

Hyesun graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea with a degree in Economics. After graduation, she worked at Tridge as an Assistant Manager as part of their Market Intelligence Team where she wrote articles and drafted reports about the global agriculture & trade industry and co-hosted the company’s podcast. During her 1L summer, Hyesun was a law clerk at Kim & Chang where she focused on researching and presenting SEC cases and regulations.

Beyond Law School

Hyesun’s interests include analyzing film, taking skyline photos, and trying frozen ready-made meals. She is natively fluent in English and Korean.
