J.R. Molm

J.R. is a 1L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 4 of the Business Law Scholars Program. He spent most of his life in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, but spent his early years in Washington, D.C., and looks forward to returning there during his time at Georgetown Law

Prior to Georgetown, J.R. attended the University of Florida and graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSAc). While at UF, he served many prominent leadership roles such as Vice President for Florida Blue Key and numerous positions in Student Government. He was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame during his final year along with 24 other students for his accomplishments on campus.

While an undergraduate student, J.R. gained valuable experience in accounting through an internship with Stillwater Insurance in Jacksonville, Florida. He helped complete account reconciliations and improved data analytics by assisting with the transition of their data systems to Tableau.

After graduating from Georgetown Law, J.R. is interested in working at a large firm doing mergers and acquisitions.

In his spare time, J.R. enjoys exercise, creating and producing music, and reading. His go-to fun fact is that he was adopted as an infant from Russia.
