Former Athlete turned Musician with Sights on Corporate Practice

Zack is interested in a career in transactional practice at a large law firm, with particular focus on either securities or mergers and acquisitions.

Background

Before coming to law school, Zack earned his B.A. in Sociology modified with Psychology from Dartmouth College in Spring 2020. While at Dartmouth, he had the opportunity to work in several service organizations, on-campus groups, and leadership roles including being a member of the varsity football team, president of the Dartmouth chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and an associate editor on the school’s Law Journal.

Additionally, Zack spent his Junior winter in working as a Federal Government Affairs Intern with Citibank here in Washington, D.C. While at Citi, Zack closely studied the House Financial Services Committee, viewed congressional hearings, and prepared briefs for Citi executives.

Outside of the Classroom

In his free time, Zack enjoys writing poetry and playing the guitar, which he began learning after the close of his Division 1 football career. In his first semester at Georgetown, he even formed a band with two members of his section, called “The Restatements,” including fellow Business Law Scholar, J.R. Molm.
