Madeline Mitsch
Maddie is a 2L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars program. After law school, she would like to practice corporate law, either in BigLaw or in house at a large company. On campus, she is involved in the Women’s Legal Alliance and the Corporate and Financial Law Organization. This past summer, was a Summer Associate at Duane Morris in DC.
Background
Maddie graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a degree in Psychology and minors in Marketing and English. She was involved in BC Psychology Mentorship, Psi Chi Honor Society, BC Investments Club, and BC Stylus Club (BC’s literary and art magazine). Maddie is a published author in the poetry collection Turning the Corner (2020).
Maddie went straight into law school after graduating from undergrad. During her summers, she was a Volunteer Coordinator for Horizons Summer Tennis Program in New Jersey; a Professional Services Consulting Intern and an Intern Team Leader at HealthEdge Software, Inc (a Blackstone Private Equity portfolio company) in Burlington, MA; and took the Catalyst Management Program at Boston College where she took a 9 credit/10-week core business curriculum immersion program.
Beyond Law School
Maddie is from Rumson, New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, baking/cooking, poker, working out, writing, music, and watching reality tv.
