Malcolm B. Morse
Malcolm is an alumnus and was in Cohort 2 of the Business Law Scholars Program. He is currently an Associate at Nixon Peabody LLP in their Affordable Housing Regulatory and Transactional Practice in Washington, D.C.. He works with a diverse team of attorneys, developers, investors, and nonprofits to provide legal services and solutions for affordable housing projects across the country.
At Georgetown, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Modern Critical Perspectives and Special Events Coordinator of the Black Law Students Association. He was also a Leadership Fellow at the DC Bar, serving as a student member of the Law Practice Management Committee.
Prior to Georgetown, Malcolm obtained his M.U.P. from the NYU Wagner School of Public Policy and B.A. in Political Science and English from Morehouse College. While at NYU Wagner, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Wagner Review and Alumni Relations Chair for the Black Student Association. Additionally, he served as the President of the NAACP Georgia Youth & College Division while at Morehouse.
During his 1L summer, Malcolm was a legal intern at the District of Columbia Mayor’s Office of Legal Counsel (MOLC). He remained at the MOLC the following semester to complete an externship and worked there as a part-time employee while at Georgetown.
Malcolm is a native Washingtonian who enjoys sports, movies, and spending time with friends and family. He was selected to be a Georgetown Business Law Scholar and member of Cohort Two.
