Nicolas Enrique O'Connor
Nicholas is an alumnus and was in Cohort 1 of the Business Law Scholars Program. He is currently a Whistleblower and Civil Rights Attorney at Katz Banks Kumin LLP in DC.
At Georgetown, Nicolas was an Akin Gump Pro Bono Scholar in their New York office.
During his 1L summer, he working at Akin Gump as well as he also interned at Sanctuary for Families, New York’s leading service provider for survivors of gender-based violence. Prior to Georgetown, he founded EduAmistad Ecuador, a nonprofit which provides no-cost health education to youth in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Nicolas returned to Akin Gump for his 2L summer.
Nicolas is fluent in Spanish and is a dual citizen of the United States and Ecuador. He grew up on Long Island, New York, and enjoys theatre, politics, and trying new foods. Nicolas was selected to be a Georgetown Business Law Scholar and is in the Inaugural Cohort.
