Rose Corcoran
Rose is a member of Cohort 6 of the Business Law Scholars program. Her goal is to work in corporate law; practice areas of interest include mergers and acquisitions, international commercial law, entertainment law, and intellectual property.
At Georgetown, Rose is involved in the Women’s Legal Alliance, Corporate & Financial Law Organization, and will be joining Georgetown Immigration Law Journal this fall. She will be working for Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York with a specific interest in exploring mergers and acquisitions and investment management.
Background
Rose graduated from Colgate University summa cum laude with a degree in History and Writing & Rhetoric. At Colgate, she was the president of the Women’s Rugby Club and was a contributing writer of The Colgate Maroon-News. Rose was also a writing consultant at the Writing and Speaking Center and was Director of Financial Operations at Sorority National Operations.
Beyond Law School
Rose is from Manhasset, New York. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching new shows on Netflix, going to the gym, trying new foods, and museums.
