Background

Thomas began his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University and later transferred to Wichita State University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences and Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. He was the President and Treasurer of the Pre-Law Student Association and a Student Senator in the Student Government Association.

Prior to law school, Thomas was a Government Affairs Coordinator for Watkins Public Strategies in Topeka, Kansas where he had the opportunity to engage with state-level elected officials and gained valuable experience in the law making process. He has previously held positions as the Communications Manager for the Kansas State Treasurer, a file clerk in the Estate Planning and Probate Department at Hinkle Law Firm, and a phlebotomist in a hospital laboratory. Growing up he spent a lot of time at his Grandfather’s farm where he learned the value of an honest days work.
