Professor Diann Rust-Tierney will deliver the annual Robert F. Drinan, S.J. Chair in Human Rights lecture. Drinks reception with refreshments to follow.

Professor Rust-Tierney is a recognized and respected leader with decades of experience advocating for civil rights and human rights. For the last 16 years, she served as Executive Director of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. As the 2021-2022 Robert F. Drinan, S.J., Chair in Human Rights, she serves as a resource for students and faculty and teaches “Human Rights Advocacy: Lessons from the Campaign to End the Death Penalty and Other Human Rights Campaigns.”
