By riding in BellRinger, each rider makes a commitment to ride 25, 50, or 100 miles, and commits to reach out into their network to fundraise. 100% of those funds go back to support cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi. Riders who join the Law Center team will also receive a match for their first $500 raised, effectively reducing their fundraising commitment by $500 for this first year.

I encourage you to join and to consider participating in this important initiative this fall. With the help of Gene Finn, Vicki Girard, and a number of law students, we have already started to build some momentum for BellRinger at the Law Center. In total, there are over 400 registered riders across Georgetown and the D.C. area, and over $600,000 raised to date for cancer research.

You will be able to join the Law Center Team (or start your own team) during the registration process. Volunteer opportunities are also available, and there is no fundraising requirement to volunteer.
